At the Beach
I paint reality through a filter, one that reveals energy, overlapping dimensions, and the invisible world pressing against the visible. To make room for what cannot ordinarily be seen, I alter the physical world: shifting color, moving the ground, coaxing the rocks toward life. I believe everything around us is alive, perhaps more so than we are. This work asks you to look again at the beach, at the light and to sense the beings keeping watch.
