Description:
Ma’s Gathering honors Miriam “Ma” Ferguson, the first woman governor of Texas. Within this surreal, luminous scene, ancestral and maternal presences gather as radiant light-forms around a central figure—symbolizing the courage, complexity, and lineage of female leadership. This work bridges public history and private ancestry, reminding us that progress often begins as a gathering of unseen forces moving through time.
